KEMEROVO, Nov. 17 - OJSC Koks, the flagship company of Industrial Metallurgical Holding (Koks Group), has resumed sales of coke in Ukraine in recent months and expects shipments to continue, the Russian coke and pig iron producer said in a report.
"Ukraine became the main market for the sale of products at the end of the third quarter [of 2014]… The trend of further sales in Ukraine, according to forecasts, will continue until the end of 2014, possibly the first quarter of 2015," the company said, adding that it had previously suspended shipments to Ukraine.
The company said shipments were resumed in part due to the "unstable political situation in Ukraine and military actions as a result of which the country's main coke-chemical plants suffered.
