Groysman: We're stuck with anthracite coal for next three years

KIEV, Feb. 22 – The Ukrainian energy sector has no alternative to anthracite coal for the next three years, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said at a government meeting.

"In the medium term outlook – one, two and three years – we do not have an alternative to anthracite coal," he said.

KIEV, Feb. 20 – Rinat Akhmetov's DTEK energy holding has contracted 330,000 tons of coal from South Africa, the holding reported.

"In the difficult situation of full consumption of coal stocks at Prydniprovska thermal power plant [TPP] DTEK has signed contracts to supply 330,000 tons of coal from South Africa.


Investor concern rises about Russia's Ukrainian eurobond restructuring

KIEV, Feb. 20 – International investors are concerned about Russia's participation in the expected restructuring of Ukrainian eurobonds, analysts from Nomura investment bank said after meetings with investors in New York.
