KIEV, Feb. 20 - Ukraine is in talks with China on expanding the use of a $3.6 billion loan and amending the list of the previously approved projects in the oil and gas sector, Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Ihor Didenko said.
"We want to expand the use of the credit, to negotiate with the Chinese side. The ambassador confirmed that they are ready to consider this idea. We need to perform technical work, meet with China Development Bank and include these projects in the loan agreement," he said in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
