KIEV, Feb. 23 - The Ukrainian central bank moved to impose currency controls as the hryvnia plunged another 10 percent against the dollar on Monday -- a move analysts said would do little to bolster the currency, Reuters reported.


Ukraine accuses Gazprom of failing to deliver natural gas it paid for

KIEV, Feb. 23 – Ukraine on Monday accused Russia's Gazprom on Monday of failing to supply natural gas that was paid for in advance.

Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the national energy company, asked Gazprom to explain why it had delivered only 47 million cubic meters of gas on February 22, which is short of 114 million cu m that had been ordered.
