KIEV, Feb. 23 –The rapid rise in the price of oil on the global markets could seriously affect the price of gasoline and diesel fuel in Ukrainian retail chains in early March, according to experts polled by Interfax-Ukraine.

"If the price of oil remains around $100 a barrel for a month, the prices of A-95 gasoline in Ukraine could reach UAH 9.70 per liter and the price of diesel fuel could be UAH 8.90 per liter. This could happen in early March," said the director of Kiev-based A-95 consulting company, Serhiy Kuyun.
