Government reports 17.3% increase in real wages for last month

KIEV, July 29 - Real wages in Ukraine increased by 17.3% year-on-year in June, and by 7.2% from May, the State Statistics Service reported.

Cabinet calls for creation of business ombudsman institution

KIEV, July 30 - The Cabinet of Ministers is planning to sign a memorandum with its foreign partners this August on the creation of the institution of business ombudsman, which can become an arbitrator in relations between government and business, as well as prevent the use of administrative levers in corporate conflicts, First Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov said.


Local construction materials replacing imports in 2013, says official
