Government predicts at least 4.5% GDP growth for Ukraine next year

KIEV, Sept. 3 – The growth of Ukraine's GDP will accelerate to at least 4.5% in 2013, the Finance Ministry forecast in the draft national budget, Deputy Minister Serhiy Rybak said at a meeting of chairpersons of public councils at the executive bodies with government members.


Total state debt will reach 36% of GDP this year, government says

Cabinet proposes licensing regime for 2008/2009 grain exports

Metallurgical coke output increases 9.1% year-on-year through Aug. 31

KIEV, Sept. 3 - Ukraine produced a preliminary 14.697 million tons of metallurgical coke with 6%-moisture content in January-August 2008, up 9.1% year-on-year, Anatoliy Starovoit, director of the Dnipropetrovsk-based coke producers' association Ukrkoks, told Interfax.


Steel pipe production decreases 6.1% year-on-year through Aug. 31

KIEV, Sept. 3 - Ukraine reduced steel pipe production 6.1% year-on-year in January-August to 1.719 million tons, including 208,000 tons in August, Ukrtruboprom, the Dnipropetrovsk-based pipe manufacturers association, told Interfax.
