Megabank is insolvent, made mistakes in risk assessments, NBU says

KYIV, June 3 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) declared Megabank (Kharkiv) insolvent, Viktor Subotin, the majority bank shareholder (70.56% of the shares), said on Friday.

Ukraine may sell Eurobond by year-end to help debt payments in 2019-2020

KYIV, June 4 – Ukraine will seek to raise money this year by tapping capital markets with a Eurobond issue to manage state debt payments peaking in 2019-2020, Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk said.
