KYIV, June 4 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) during the last week of May bought $11.5 million in the interbank foreign exchange market, while sold $43 million.
The last time the central bank was a net seller of currency in the week on March 11-15.
According to a report on the central bank's website, all $43 million were sold as interventions at a single rate (using the matching instrument), while the purchase of $11.5 million was made at the beginning of the week at the best purchase and sale price (using the matching instrument).
