All 34,000 polling places to be videoed in October election, says PM

KIEV, July 4 – All 34,000 polling stations in Ukraine will be equipped with video surveillance systems at the parliamentary elections scheduled for October 28, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said at a meeting with OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Vice President and member of the Austrian Parliament Wolfgang Grossruck.


Kiev’s Markus Bureau wins tender to assess Zaporizhia Combine

KIEV, July 5 – Kiev’s Markus Bureau has won a tender to select an assessor of the market value of the property of Zaporizhia Titanium and Magnesium Combine (ZTMK), which is used for the formation of the charter capital of a limited liability company being created with an investor, reads a report in the Vidomosti Pryvatyzatsii newspaper.


New import duties could hurt business planning, says trade group

KIEV, July 5 – Representatives of business will have to revise their investment policy in Ukraine for the next few years if import duties for certain groups of goods are increased, as it will be impossible to predict the economic regulation and plan business even in the short-term outlook, according to the European Business Association.
