Kriukov Car Building Works may supply rolling stock for Boryspil link

Cost estimates cut in half for extension of Kiev orbital highway

KIEV, Nov. 2 – Cost estimates on extension of the Kiev city orbital road from Stolychne Shose to Kiev-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky highway (M-03) on the Kiev-Boryspil section on concession terms, have been halved compared to the previous EUR 1 billion, to EUR 428 million, aftern a feasibility study of the project.


Ukraine to allocate UAH2.2 billion to develop tourism in Kiev

KIEV, Nov. 2 – UAH 2.247 billion will be allocated for the development of tourism in Kiev by 2015, including UAH 23.478 million from the city budget.

This is stipulated in the city's targeted program for tourism development until 2015, which was approved at a meeting of Kiev City Council.


PM: Ukraine has enough bread reserves to avoid bread price rise

KIEV, Nov. 2 – Ukraine has enough grain reserves and therefore there are no reasons for bread price to rise, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.

"There are no grounds for the prices of the cheapest types of bread to rise. We have enough reserves of grain and flour of last year's harvest," Azarov wrote on his Facebook page on Friday.


EnergoAtom signs VVER reactor service agreement with Rusatom

KIEV, Nov. 2 – EnergoAtom, Ukraine’s state-owned nuclear power generator, and Russia's Rusatom Overseas signed an agreement on servicing nuclear power plants with VVER reactors during their life cycle, the company reported.

Deutsche Bank to provide EUR53.5 million credit line for Ukrtransgaz

KIEV, Nov. 5 – Germany's Deutsche Bank AG will open a EUR 53.575 million credit line for Ukrtransgaz, a subsidiary of Naftogaz Ukrayiny, to finance the reconstruction of the Bar compressor station on the Soyuz trunk gas pipeline.
