Ukraine seeks to get ‘billions of hryvnias’ via tax amnesty legislation

KYIV, March 4 – The Cabinet of Ministers is counting on attracting billions of hryvnias through a tax amnesty, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.

"We expect that these will be large volumes ... Different countries received from such shares from $500,000 to billions and tens of billions of dollars, which returned to the 'white turnover.' I would like it to be in billions in hryvnias at least," said the prime minister during a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday.

Lviv City launches mobile system to pay for public transportation

LVIV, March 5 – Mobile communications operators Kyivstar, Vodafone Ukraine and lifecell jointly with the Lviv City Administration and municipal enterprise Lvivelectrotrans have launched the SMS-payment service for public transport in Lviv for prepaid subscribers, Deputy Lviv Mayor Andriy Moskalenko said at a press conference in Lviv on Tuesday.
