KYIV, March 6 – The owner of SCM, Rinat Akhmetov, is the wealthiest Ukrainian with assets growing to $6 billion in 2019 from $5.5 billion in 2018, according to a ranking released by Forbes magazine. Akhmetov is No 272 in the global ranking.

The owner of Ferrexpo, an iron ore producer, Kostiantyn Zhevago, is second (1511th in the global rating), although his assets fell by $0.1 billion, to $1.5 billion.
