EBRD names Lithuanian as Business Ombudsman for anticorruption drive

KIEV, Dec. 10 – Former European Commissioner for Taxation, Customs, Statistics, Audit and Anti-Fraud Algirdas Semeta has been appointed Business Ombudsman for Ukraine's Anti-Corruption Initiative, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development office in Kiev said in a statement.

Cabinet approves major Boryspil airport project cost increases

KIEV, Dec. 9 – The Ukrainian cabinet has approved a revised project on the construction of Terminal D at the Boryspil international airport, nearly tripling its cost compared to the initial estimate, to UAH 4.809 billion.
