KIEV, Dec. 9 – Chornomornaftogaz has raised a UAH 3.24 billion interest-free loan from Naftogaz Ukrayiny to buy a self-elevating floating drilling rig (SEFDR), Chornomornaftogaz reported in the Vidomosti of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market newspaper.

The report says that the agreement was signed on November 3, 2011.

The loan was issued until October 30, 2012, and the first tranche was sent to Chornomornaftogaz on December 1, 2011.

As reported, on November 2, 2011, Chornomornaftogaz and opened joint-stock company Riga Shipyard (Rigas Kugu Buvetava, Latvia) signed an agreement in Kiev for the delivery of the self-elevating floating drilling rig worth around $400 million.
