Ukraine reduces ferrous scrap metal exports 86.9% on year in Jan-Feb

KYIV, March 11 – Ukrainian enterprises in January and February decreased exports of ferrous scrap metal by almost 86.9% compared to January and February 2018, to 11,392 tons (86,448 tons in January and February 2018).


USDA: Ukraine’s cord exports forecast revised up to 29-mln mt in 2018/19

KYIV, March 11 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in March 2019 reviewed upwards the forecast for export of corn from Ukraine in 2018/19 agricultural year (July-June) by 0.5 million tons compared with the September forecast, to 29 million tons.


Ukraine natural gas stocks drop 45.9% to 9.3 Bcm through March 9

KYIV, March 11 – Ukraine since the start of the heating season on November 7, 2018 through March 9 decreased its natural gas stocks in the underground gas storage facilities by 7.898 billion cubic meters (bcm), or by 45.9%, to 9.297 bcm, according to data from Ukrtransgaz.


Ukraine’s industrial goods prices up 1% on month in February

KYIV, March 11 – Industrial prices in Ukraine in February increased by 1%, as a month earlier, after decreasing in December 2018 by 0.4% and growing in November 2018 by 1.7%, the State Statistics Service has reported.
