Poland's Dymerka Solar to buy 50% of Artsyz-Solar, UDP Renewables
KYIV, March 13 – The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine early March permitted Poland's Dymerka Solar Poland Sp. z o.o (under control of Spain's' ACCIONA Energia Global) to acquire over 50% in the Artsyz-Solar solar power plant project (Kyiv) of UDP Renewables (Kyiv) belonged to businessman Vasyl Khmelnytsky, according to a posting on the website of the committee. |
Arricano to build creative space campus, restaurants at Petrivka in Kyiv
KYIV, March 12 – Arricano Real Estate Plc (Cyprus), the managing company and developer of some shopping and entertainment centers in Ukraine, plans to build a campus with co-working and creative space, restaurants instead of the Petrivka shopping and entertainment center located in the intersection of Iordanska Street and Stepana Bandery Avenue in Kyiv. |
Ukraine International Airlines acquires 6 Embraer-195 planes
KYIV, March 12 – Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv) has expanded its fleet with the sixth plane of the Embraer brand – Embraer 195.
The press service of the airline reported that the plane received the UR-EMG registration number. The plane will be used in the short-range regional network of UIA and will start performing first commercial flights in the first half of March. |
Ukraine, Turkey again in talks on defense industry cooperation
KYIV, March 12 – An official meeting of Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak with new Turkish ambassador in Ukraine Yagmur Ahmet Guldere held in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The sides discussed the state and ways of further development of cooperation, including in the defense sphere and defense industry. |
Ukraine’s fiscal service allows firms to pay VAT in installments
KYIV, March 12 – The State Fiscal Service has reported that the authority made four decisions permitted paying VAT in installments for imports of equipment worth EUR 0.4 million and in February 2019, while as of March 1, 2019, a total of 82 decisions were made for the amount of EUR 7.7 million and $1.4 million. |
Ukraine car registration up 60% on year in January-February
KYIV, March 7 - The primary registration of electric vehicles in Ukraine in January-February of this year increased by 60% compared to the same period last year, to 482 units, in particular registration of used cars rose by 82%, while that of new ones decreased by 19%, the Ukrautoprom association has reported. |
