KYIV, March 12 – An official meeting of Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak with new Turkish ambassador in Ukraine Yagmur Ahmet Guldere held in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The sides discussed the state and ways of further development of cooperation, including in the defense sphere and defense industry.

"We highly appreciate the support of the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of our state, non-recognition of the occupation of the Crimea by the Turkish side," Poltorak said, adding that Turkey is a key strategic partner of Ukraine and has a significant impact on the development of the security situation in the region, press service of the Ministry of Defense reported on Tuesday.
