Ukrainian airlines serviced 86.9% of flights on time in April

KYIV, May 13 – Ukrainian airlines in April 2019 serviced 86.9% of flights of the total number of flights serviced at Ukrainian airports within the 15 minute deviation from the timetable, which is 0.7 percentage points (p.p.) better than the figure for March 2019 (86.2%), according to a posting on the website of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine.


Energoatom increases power generation 9.9% on year in January-April

KYIV, May 13 – The state nuclear power generating company Energoatom increased power generation by 9.9% year-on-year in January-April 2019, to 30.365 billion kWh, the company has said.

The electricity generation target was met by 100.3%.


Ukraine’s remittances via money transfer up 36% in January-March

KYIV, May 13 – The volume of internal remittances via money transfer systems in January-March grew by 36% year-over-year, to UAH 46.77 billion or $1.713 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) reported.


Ukraine to boost grain exports to 50.7-mln mt in 2019-2020: USDA

KYIV, May 11 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) predicts grain exports from Ukraine in the 2019/2020 marketing year (MY, July-June) at the level of 50.7 million tons (300,000 tons more than in 2018/2019 MY), the agency reported.

KYIV, May 13 – Ukraine from April 4 through May 11, 2019 increased natural gas stocks in its underground storage facilities by 15.1% or 1.324 billion cubic meters (bcm), to 10.069 bcm, according to recent update from JSC Ukrtransgaz.


Belarus restores 60% of normal oil transit via Ukraine

MINSK, May 13 - As of May 13, approximately 60% of the average transit of oil through the Belarusian section of the Druzhba pipeline to Ukraine has been restored, but transit to Poland is still frozen, Belneftekhim told Interfax.

KYIV, May 13 – Ukrainians have filed 529,000 tax returns and declared up to one-third more income in 2018 compared to 2017, some UAH 83.6 billion, acting head of the State Fiscal Service Oleksandr Vlasov said.


Ukraine cuts coal output 14% on year in January-April

KYIV, May 11 – Ukraine in January-April 2018 reduced coal production by 14% (by 1.833 million tons) compared to the same period in 2017, to 11.236 million tons.
