KYIV, May 11 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) predicts grain exports from Ukraine in the 2019/2020 marketing year (MY, July-June) at the level of 50.7 million tons (300,000 tons more than in 2018/2019 MY), the agency reported.
According to the report, the USDA forecasts the increase in wheat production in Ukraine in the 2019/2020 MY due to favorable weather conditions to 29 million tons (4 million tons more from the 2018/2019 MY). Wheat exports will amount to 19 million tons (2.5 million tons more).
