KIEV, July 14 - EnergoAtom has signed a new five-sided memorandum on joint actions to achieve a zero failure rate of nuclear fuel, a new member of which became Russia's Rosenergoatom.


Cabinet approves 25-year development program for Ukrainian seaports

KIEV, July 12 – The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a draft resolution on the approval of a strategy for the development of Ukrainian seaports through 2038, which will allow considerably increasing cargo handling at Ukrainian ports, the Infrastructure Ministry reported.


USDA downgrades 2013/2014 Ukraine sunflower oil production forecast

KIEV, July 12 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture has downgraded its forecast for sunflower oil production in Ukraine in the 2013/2014 agricultural year (September – August) by 80,000 tons compared to its June's assessment, to 4.119 million tons, reads a posting on the USDA Web site.


Star Group completes first phase of Ukraine's largest solar plant

Sales of new passenger cars reported down 5% in first half of year

KIEV, July 15 – Sales of new passenger cars in Ukraine fell by 5% year-over-year in H1, to slightly over 97,000 cars, the AUTO-Consulting information-analytical group reported.
