KIEV, Jan. 22 – The National Bank of Ukraine has denied that the International Monetary Fund approved a decision to transfer a portion of the bank's forex reserves to the Ukrainian government.

"The IMF Executive Board has not taken any decision on transferring forex reserves from the National Bank of Ukraine to the Ukrainian government," the bank said in a statement on Friday.
