KIEV, Dec. 9 – The cabinet has approved a plan for the creation of minimum oil and fuel stocks for the period until 2020, the Fuel and Energy Ministry announced.

Fuel and Energy Minister Yuriy Prodan said that oil would make up 60% of total strategic stocks, and fuel 40%.

"By 2020, Ukraine should have strategic stocks of 2.2 million tons of oil and 1.3 million tons of fuel," he told the press late on Tuesday, commenting on the draft plan submitted to the cabinet.
