KIEV, Aug. 3 – Olekskiy Pukach, the recently captured former top police officer who is alleged to have killed journalist Heorhiy Gongadze in 2000, told investigators who had ordered the murder, a news agency reported, citing a source.
Pukach, who was on the run for the past six years, is thought to be the only person who can provide the names of those senior officials who had ordered the murder of the investigative journalist.
