KIEV, July 10 – The forecast of Ukraine's inflation for 2009, prepared in cooperation with the International Monetary Fund has been revised from 16% to 13%, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said at a press conference in Kiev on Friday.
According to Tymoshenko, the forecast was improved as a result of the second review of the fund's Stand-By Arrangement with Ukraine.
Tymoshenko said the realization of the program would allow Ukraine to response properly to the challenges of the international economic crisis and become stronger, while overcoming this difficult period.
