KIEV, May 20 – Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko’s government for the fourth consecutive month refused to disclose Ukraine’s vital economic growth statistics, fueling fears the economy is in a freefall.

For the past 15 years Ukraine has been reporting its economic growth statistics every month, but the Tymoshenko government has suddenly changed the pattern in February by switching to quarterly reports.
