KIEV, March 2 – Ukraine’s government will cut budget spending in April or May, according to a compromise reached on Monday between President Viktor Yushcheko and Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

Yushchenko has been so far insisting on immediate spending cuts, while Tymoshenko has been seeking to delay the spending cuts through the end of May.
