KIEV, Nov. 3 - Arcelor Mittal, the world’s biggest producer of steel, on Monday denied media reports that it had shut down completely its steel-making operation in Ukraine, admitting steel output had been “significantly” reduced.

The denial comes hours after a news agency has reported that Arcelor Mittal Kryviy Rih, or AMKR, Ukraine’s biggest steel-making plant, has completely shut down operation.
