KIEV, May 28 - By vetoing the government's decision imposing quotas on sunflower oil exports, President Viktor Yushchenko has assumed responsibility for the inflation processes in the country, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said.

"Considering the country's inflation and the unfounded growth of food prices, exports should be suspended. You know [sunflower] oil prices have skyrocketed. The government made a decision about export quotas. The president overturned it and assumed responsibility for inflation processes," Tymoshenko told a press conference on Wednesday.
