KYIV, Sept 19 - Velta with assets for the extraction of titanium-bearing ores in Novomyrhorod (Kirovohrad region) received the first patent in the United States for the Ukrainian technology of affordable "green" titanium.

According to the company's official press release, Velta Holdings US Inc., the invention for the production of powders of metallic titanium and its alloys has been fully examined and patented by the US Patent and Trademark Office. The patent confirmed the inventive step, novelty and ability for industrial use of the technology.
