KYIV, Jan 17 – The money supply in Ukraine in 2021 increased by 12%, to UAH 2.072 trillion, while in 2020 this figure grew by 28.7% (to UAH 1.850 trillion), preliminary data show monetary statistics on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
According to them, in December the money supply increased by 5.8% in Ukraine.
It is indicated that the monetary base (reserve funds) increased by 11.2% over 2021, to UAH 662.499 billion, including in December – by 1.1%. According to the NBU statistics, the growth of the monetary base amounted to 24.8% in 2020.
