KYIV, Oct 13 – Ukraine may be forced to suspend power exports to the European Union in order to avoid imports of power from Russia and Belarus if the country is to experience a major energy crisis, Ukrenergo CEO Volodymyr Kudrytsky said.
Ukraine is running its Burshtyn TPP power plant permanently connected to the European grid, but will disconnect the plant and reconnect it with Ukraine in case of the crisis, he said.
