KYIV, April 30 – The potential harvest of grains and oilseeds in the 2021/2022 marketing year (MY) may increase by 14.5% compared to 2020/2021 MY, to 96.25 million tons due to good wintering of winter crops and favorable weather conditions, the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) has said in its April forecast on its website on Thursday.
According to grain traders, Ukraine will get one of the best harvests if weather conditions are favorable in the future. Exports in 2021/2022 MY may reach 59.8 million tons of grains and oilseeds, while the UGA forecasts 46.8 million tons in the current season.
