KYIV, Feb 26 – Almost 83% of Ukrainians are positive about Ukraine's European integration, according to a study by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, presented at the round table "Urgent Tasks of Communication on European Integration in Ukraine."
In particular, 82.7% of Ukrainians chose at least one positive statement about Ukraine's European integration. 46.4% of Ukrainians associate European integration with changes in the quality of work of the state (convenient services, respect for the citizen, providing conditions for a decent life and work), 38.1% - with life according to EU standards (social, economic, legal), 26.6% - with increasing responsibility of the citizens (respectful, tolerant attitude to each other and to social rules), 25.8% - with the country's development strategy for many years until full accession to the EU, 22.5% - with open borders, the possibility to easily go to Europe to study or work.
