KYIV, April 17 – Ukrainian businesses have improved their expectations in terms of economic growth rates and the creation of new jobs over the next 12 months, according to a survey of business leaders conducted by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in January-March 2019.
According to the website of the central bank, 38% of companies expect that production will increase, and 12.7% predict that the figure will decrease. The balance of responses as for production growth is 25.3% (in the previous survey some 18.2%). At the same time, positive expectations are observed among enterprises of all types of economic activity.
