KYIV, April 18 – The consumer confidence index in Ukraine in March 2019 compared with February fell by 1.7 points, to 65.3 points on a 200-point scale, according to a study by Info Sapiens.
"The consumer confidence index mean value in the first quarter of 2019 is higher than it was in the fourth quarter of 2018 and the entire year 2018. The biggest growth in the first quarter of 2019 is shown by the indices of expectations of the country's economic development in both short- and long-term overview. However, evaluation of current financial standing stays almost the same. The optimism concerning the economic conditions may be caused by positive expectations of the presidential elections results," Info Sapiens said.
