KYIV, Aug 6 – Valki-Ilmenit LLC and Mezhyrichensk Mining and Concentration Complex, part of Dmytro Firtash's Group DF, in January-June 2018 increased production of ilmenite concentrate by 80% (or by 31,000 tonnes) year-over-year, to 70,000 tonnes, the group's press service has reported.

"In the first half of the year, the Valki-Ilmenit and Mezhyrichensk Mining and Concentration Complex managed to increase the production of ilmenite concentrate by almost 80%, which was made possible thanks to the fact that on June 1 we were able to resume the work of the Valki-Ilmenit combine, which more than a year was forcibly stopped because of the suspension of the license by the State Service for Geology and Deposits," the press service said, citing director of Valki-Ilmenit Ivan Bondar.
