KIEV, Oct. 17 – Ukraine suspended pumping of gas to underground gas storage facilities due to the start of the 2016/17 heating season and started pumping it from them, Ukrtransgaz spokesman Maksym Beliavsky said on Facebook.

According to the company, if on October 12, gas pumping into the inventories exceeded pumping from them by 13.59 million cubic meters (17.56 million cubic meters compared to 3.72 million cubic meters), on October 13 gas pumping from the inventories was 30,000 cubic meters more than pumping to them (3.69 million cubic meters compared to 3.72 million cubic meters).
