KIEV, Aug. 12 – The Ukrainian Agrarian Council has urged the Ukrainian government and Ukraine's Antimonopoly Committee to interfere in the situation on the nitrogen fertilizers market and take measures to cut their prices, liquidating the monopoly collusion on the market.

According to the council, Ukrainian farmers have been paying more for nitrogen fertilizers for many years. When Dmytro Firtash's Ostchem lobbied for the introduction of antidumping duties on Russian ammonium nitrate in 2014, the situation has become a catastrophe.
