KIEV, July 18 – Parliament Speaker Andriy Parubiy says consensus and a majority of votes could be secured for decentralization-related amendments to Ukraine's Constitution if the provisions concerning special self-government in certain areas in Donetsk and Luhansk regions were withdrawn.
"When the [session] hall is united, there is no problem to vote one more time, perhaps, without one clause, and send it to the Constitution Court and pass it at the next session," he said at a press conference in Kiev on Monday.
