KIEV, July 7 - The Slavyansk-based fossil fuel-burning power plant will need 400 million hryvnias in spending to resume operation after its artillery damage, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan said Monday.

The power plant, one of two operated by DonbasEnergo, a major regional power generator, was critically damaged during the offensive and artillery fighting on July 2 and 3.
