KIEV, Aug. 1 – The deficit of Ukraine's national budget in June 2013 was UAH 4.258 billion, which was 81.2% up on May 2013 (UAH 2.342 billion) and 39.6% up on June 2012 (UAH 3.05 billion).

"The deficit of the national budget in January-June 2013 was UAH 22.746 billion. The deficit of [the budget's] general fund was UAH 24.629 billion, which was UAH 11.967 billion down on the plan set for the period," reads a posting on the Finance Ministry's Web site.
