KIEV, May 21 - One person was killed on Tuesday as high winds and thunderstorms cut the power supply to 468 Ukrainian towns and villages in the early hours of May 21, the Emergency Situations Ministry said on Tuesday.

Power outages were reported in Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Rivne, Khmelnytsky, Zhytomyr, Lviv, Kiev, Volyn and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. The storms damaged house roofs and uprooted several trees in several districts of Ternopil and Rivne regions.
