KIEV, April 22 – Ukraine’s largest oil refinery by capacity, Kremenchuk Oil Refinery, will double amount of crude it refines within weeks as the government seeks to protect the sector, an official said Monday.

The government owns 43% stake in Kremenchuk and has drafted several programs that will seek to increase supplies of crude to the refinery, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytskiy said.
