KIEV, Dec. 27 - Newly appointed Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytskiy vowed to pay close attention and to finish construction of $1 billion liquefied natural gas terminal to diversify the country's energy imports.

The terminal project suffered a setback on November 26 after Gas Natural Fenosa of Spain had denied earlier reports of its planning to get involved in the project.
