KIEV, Nov. 21 - Ukraine's coal mining and power generating giant, DTEK, which is the country's largest exporter of power to Europe, plans to build a new 800 MW ultra-supercritical power generating unit at Burshtyn Thermal Power Plant, the company reported Wednesday.
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) disbursed a grant to DTEK for conducting a feasibility study on the unit, which is supposed to be in compliance with environmental standards of the European Energy Community.
