KIEV, Oct. 12 - The Ukrainian government is expected to update and approve in November the country’s energy sector strategy through 2030 by increasing the share of renewable and alternative energy sources, a top official said Friday.
Volodymyr Makukha, deputy energy and coal industry minister, said the ministry is currently finalizing the paper and was likely to submit it to the Cabinet within a week.
“We hope that the Energy Strategy will be approved by the government in November,” Makukha said at a press conference.
