KIEV, Sept. 17 – Former Prime Minister Pavlo Lazarenko, who is serving a prison term in the Unites States for fraud and money laundering, will be released on November 1, Komsomolska Pravda in Ukraine newspaperreported, referring to the Web site of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons.
The general list of prisoners posted on this Web site indicates a date of release opposite Lazarenko - November 1, 2012.
According to the newspaper, on August 4 the ex-premier was transferred to Terminal Island federal prison in California "with a low security level." The prisoners of such prison in fact are left to themselves, since the supervisors watch them via video surveillance systems.
