LVIV, Sept. 14 – A joint venture between Ukraine and Germany could invest in the construction of a waste processing plant in Lviv, said Mykhailo Kostiuk, head of Lviv Regional State Administration.

He added that the company is building a similar plant in Rivne.

"The plant is to be constructed near an operating solid and domestic waste landfill. Thus, we could simultaneously carry out recultivation and the closure of the operating landfill. The Ukrainian-German company that is finishing the construction of a similar plant in Rivne could invest in the project," he said.
