KIEV, Aug. 22 – Ukraine's gross domestic product grew by a preliminary 2% year-over-year in January-July, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.

"Preliminary estimation of the country's gross domestic product over January-July showed that it grew by 2%," the premier said, while opening a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in Kiev on Wednesday.

Azarov stressed that the results are good enough if compared to that of Europe, but Ukraine should strive for more.
